Flying over the Frisco Bay
The Boeing 777 has a great cross section; she’s most certainly a widebody. Photo by Angelo Bufalino. Used with permission.
An ANA Boeing 777 pours on the coals as is evident by the glowing red exhaust cone. Nicely captured by Yutaka Sasaki. Used with permission.
Best vid I’ve seen in a while! Some hot s#%t low-level F-18 action. Especially the river run bit at 3:30! Just think if you were down there fly fishing when all of a sudden …
If I had the lens, I’d probably sit in my driveway and wait for shots like this one. Love the dark blue hues. Photo by John. Used with permission.
Great footage of a C-17 departing Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Air power, nuff said.
How’s about a beautiful shot of of a Super Hornet to get us into the weekend?
A Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18F Super Hornet performs an aerial demonstration for an estimated 180,000 spectators at the Australian International Airshow, March 2, 2013 at Avalon Airport in Geelong, Australia. The Australian International Airshow 2013 (AIA13), is held biennially, and is one of the largest international trade shows in the Pacific. The Airshow is expected to draw 350,000 visitors and has featured 500 defense exhibitors from 35 countries and is designed to bolster business opportunities in the international aviation sector. U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) participation in AIA13 directly supports theater engagement goals and objectives and further enhances relationships with other Pacific nations. If I had a good lens like this photographer, I could spend a whole day staring down at KSAN’s RWY 27! Great shot of this SWA bird on final. Photo by Ken Koller. Used with permission.
Seems you don’t often get a view inside the cockpit of a B-52. Here’s a nice one of a hardworking crew in action during Red Flag-Alaska.
