One of my all-time faves, I’ll be sad when the Prowler goes bye-bye. PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 24, 2011) An EA-6B Prowler assigned to the Lancers of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAQ) 131 approaches the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln is in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations (AOO) as part of a deployment to the western Pacific and Indian Oceans in support of coalition efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet AOO.
